Strings are the simplest of all fields in MuSL. They are typically double-quoted and can contain both ascii and binary characters. Strings also support the common escape characters like \r, \n as well the \x escape characters. For the lazy, MuSL also supports a repeat operator that can precede any field definition, simple or complex.
